Diane Birch – woohooo
There’s been a lot of action surrounding the new album Bible Belt by Diane Birch. I had just bought a new computer and had to wait to listen to mine until I could get someone to find me a cd player (remember I have a broken leg) and so I was a bit behind. I missed #gno and #dianebirch and @stevigpro but you can still chat with them if you want.
While gathering your information on Diane Birch and her new album, you and Discover & Donate. Basically as you help promote the album and get yourself a copy, you can then choose six charities of your choice to have $1 each donated to them from your purchase.
Some of the charities that are participating are Autism Speaks, Keep a Child Alive, March of Dimes, Share our Strength, SOS Children’s Villages and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Here’s how it works, go to the site and choose a Diane Birch widget from one of six charities. Then, post your widget and encourage your friends to discover Diane’s sultry debut that Billboard magazine calls “2009 Ones to Watch”.
Then, for each person that buys the album from either iTunes or Amazon link through your widget, a $1 donation will be made in your name. PLUS, whoever raises the most money for charity through their widget by June 23, 2009, will win a FREE private performance in the winner’s hometown! (They’ll even throw in a few refreshments.) More albums sold means more money donated. How cool is that? Start sharing!
Ok, go give it a listen, I have mine close enough to me to reach right over and play it now instead of having to depend on someone else for now. Go me!
