How the Media can tell you what’s happening in the real word
Things have been going a bit crazy around here as of late. First of all, I started out doing this Facebook interview just for the fun of it. It turned into a really long affair. And, I mean, like 180 questions long. No kidding, at one point I was determined to answer the questions to show it that I could last longer than it could. And, in reality, it was still asking questions but it was starting to repeat itself.
And, since I’ve taken to trying to be silly lately, I picked an answer and anytime I could work it in my reply to a question, I used it. That answer? Coca-Cola. No kidding. Ask me what inventor I admired most? My answer, the man who made Coca-Cola. Ask me if I like gatorade or water best, I tell you Coca-Cola. It was quite comical.
The next day, I get an email from Coca-cola recognizing my answers. Eh, funny that. The next day after that, I get a package from Pepsi with a metal lunchbox and a throw back Pepsi and Mt. Dew inside. My children went crazy over the metal lunch box. He has been using it every day. I wrote about it in jest especially since it seemed to coincide with the Coca-Cola fun.
But, it wasn’t. I received an email from the sender of the package explaining that Pepsi was doing a throwback campaign on their Pepsi and Mt. Dew and I had been sent one of each. And, so, we gave them a try. My kids loved them, unfortunately. We don’t allow them to get too much soda but they thought this was wonderful.
So, I write my apology and lo and behold, I am chosen to do a giveaway on a Pepsi Pack honoring the throwback campaign. You can enter it here. Go on over and put your name in the mix. You just might win.
