It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Hilarious But…
…for the love of all things holy, please stop creating such crappy commercials! There are few shows on television that are quite as funny as It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia while hiding that humor behind a barrage of crappy media campaigns. This beat boxing stuff is an attempt at satire according to the knowledgeable people in the YouTube comments page but satire is the buzz word for people who don’t know how to come up with something original.
This is more of a commentary about the people defending the ad in YouTube rather than the cast of It’s Always Sunny. The show bites back at dumb sitcoms past, present and future with an extra dose of the gang needed as Cavemen comes forward as ABC’s best offering. It’s Always Sunny fans, spare me your invectives about missing the point on their ads making fun of the “Mac/PC? campaign. I don’t care. It isn’t funny and you trying to explain it drains it of all its potential humor. FX and the gang should go back to showing clips of the actual humor instead of trying to reach new people with a series of lazy satirical ads. This show is much better when it presents an original and unsparing view of the world rather than ripping off ads that are terrible to begin with.
