More of the good stuff
Dambisa Moyo is an African who has studied modern economics and finance and pursued careers in developed economies. Dan Barber is defined as ethical, passionate and transformation. Add in Yoichiro Nambu is on the list. Roland Fryer was raised by his grandmother in one of the toughest neighborhoods of Daytona Beach, Florida. He learned to make crack pancakes. Yea, crack pancakes. What the heck are those? Never mind, I don’t want to know.
Adding on to the list Marin Lindstrom, Barbara Hogan, David Sheff, Steven Chu, Paul Krugman, Connie Hedegaard, Daniel Nocera, Stephan Schuster, Webb Miller, Nicholas Christakis, and Doug Melton.
And, of course, there’s plenty more, Paul Ekman, Shai Agassi, and Nate Silver. And, with that, I give you Time Magazine’s Top 100. So, what do you make of that? Do you have personal favorites? How do you feel about the members of the list?
Who would you add? Who would you take away? Do you think that the likes of Tiger Woods and Tina Fey belong in the same magazine with folks like Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama?
What about Barbara Walters, Mayor Bloomberg, Tavis Smiley and what about Zac Efron? Penelope Cruz? And, then, all those folks that I didn’t know anything about, did you know them? Alan Mulally, Jamie Dimon, Robin Chase, Timothy Geithner, Gustavo Dudamel? Do you know what it is that those guys are do? What they are about?
I’m wondering about man of them who made the list for things like Slumdog Millionare, or maybe Ted Turner? Is Ted Turner and Tina Fey the same? Did you know Werner Herzog and William Kentridge.
